Where Can I Find a Map To Track The Location of My Visitors?

I was surfing the web the other night when i found a really interesting way to track where your hits and visitors are coming from in real time. It’s called the Real Time Visitor Map and you can get it from PopulateTheWeb.com. They have different pricing for the map depending on how many page views you receive a month, also including a free version for websites with under 5000 hits per month. Below is a little more information about the map according to their website:

WHAT IS THIS?
Every time someone visits our website or one of our participating websites, you will see their location plotted on the map above. This all happens in real time.

IS THIS TRULY REAL TIME?
Yes. In contrast to some visitor maps, which may use archived log files, or constantly ping a database every minute, our system uses high availability socket servers to ensure true real-time display of your website visitors.

CAN I HEAR / SEE A DIFFERENT PLOT FOR A SPECIAL GOAL?
Yes. All you have to do is change one variable in the javascript we provide. Then, when a visitor reaches the page with the different javascript code, your private map will make a special goal sound and show a different icon. This is very useful for tracking purchases or signups.

This is a very interesting way in tracking where your visitors are coming from and allow you to advertise your product directly to where a majority of your traffic is coming from. If you have any interesting new websites please feel free to comment below or send me a quick email. I’m always interested in hearing what you guys have to say about the latest and greatest in new technologies and websites.
