The Future Of Cellphones!

It would be an extremely hard to prove that cellphones are not a substantial part of our lives. You rarely go to a place where you will not see one of these incredible devices. Now the question i want to ask you guys today is what or where you think cellular technology is headed. Here are my views.

First off i can’t say that cellphones are all heading towards the touch screen, although there have been huge advancements like the Iphone, and others. To me people are just not all ready to switch to such “touchable” technology. They still don’t have the proof that touch screens will last through the constant tapping and pounding. What i do see though is people going to the cellphones that have included both a touchscreen, and a regular old set of buttons. These have really interested me as they include both futuristic technology but not forgetting the modern technology that everyone is used to.

I would also like to point out that the mega pixels on Camera Phones need to improve. They have stayed steadily between 1 and 3 mega pixles. There is the occasional one that is above 3 but it is very rare. There is no doubt that we have the ability to improve this, but i don’t think it has been implemented the way it should or the way that we expect it to be. As for where it’s headed- I think image quality is going to improve dramatically over the next few years, and i also think that the video, the quality of the buttons and options will also improve over the next little while.

Internet. I think hand held PC’s are becoming a casual thing to have now days. It is incredible the amount of technology you see put into these tiny devices. I also think the applications you will be able to put onto your cellphone will greatly increase to extents we have never imagined. As Desktop computers to Laptops, Laptops will shrink down to cellphones.

Now it’s time for you. Where do you think the future of Cellular technology is headed. Will there be a dramatic decrease in the cancer causing effects of cellphones? WIll the whole user experience be easier, and faster? Will we even need cellphones in the future?
