Picture Quality
This Panasonic 50 inch plasma HDTV is known for it’s stunning quality of picture. With 1080p resolution and a 480 Hz processor, both of these combined present unprecedented clarity in comparison to other plasma displays similar to the TC-P50G10. It’s dynamic contrast ratio is a rare 1 000 000:1, which means that vividness and tone of the colour is near perfect. From what I’ve reviewed, this dynamic contrast ratio is very hard to come by. Previous televisions that I’ve looked at usually have a 150000:1 ratio, which is only a quarter of what this Viera 50 inch Plasma has to offer.
In addition, with this Panasonic Viera television you’ll also find that it’s equiped with a very wide viewing angle. This allows people to receive similar quality no matter what angle you’re viewing the television from. Wide viewing angles are important if you plan on having multiple people viewing the TV from different parts of the room.
Contrast Information
The contrast ratio of the G10 Panasonic Viera is two million to one. It also includes a Black Drive system, a pre-discharge control system, and more. This all allows for stunning black shade definition in the video you’re watching. Panasonic’s Viera technology plays video similar to what the video producers and directors imagined. In simpler terms, the colours and shades that are viewed on the television are similar, if not exactly what was captured from the camera.
This plasma display also has an additional feature called the AR Filter. This is of key significance since it assists the TV in sharpening images, decreasing glare, and shutting out reflections from light sources inside the room. This, in congruency to it’s HD quality will make images on the screen appear crisp and pure.
SD Memory Card Capabilities
Most people enjoy plugging in their camcorder or digital camera into their TV. The only problem with this is that it requires cables, inputs, and USB ports to make this reality. With that said, the TC P50G10 has included an SD memory card slot. This means that all you have to do to view images and video on your television from your camera is take the flash memory card from your camera and pop it into the card slot. This will make your photo viewing experience much more appreciable.
