The holiday season is fast approaching… OK maybe it’s still over a month away but now is the time to get all those gifts for that thirty page list. With the financial crunch North America is facing right now, we need things to be cheap now more than ever. Well I’ve found a great new site that can save you hundreds of dollars by shopping online..
It’s called Coupons, and what it does is allow you to search coupons throughout North America. Whether it’s for a new computer, or some flowers for your wife they have something for everything. Coupons makes it easy for you to search by dividing their coupon search into three categories including choosing by store, by category, or by keyword. Then you can choose whether you want coupons from today, yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, or any day. After that you can click the button that says “Click Here To Create A Search Feed”
Once you click, you will be taken to an RSS feed that shows a list of the coupons that you have selected. People have saved hundreds of dollars using this form, and with hundreds of stores giving coupons away you can be sure that you’ll find one for your particular need.

We have all heard of the big name social networks such as Myspace, Facebook, and all the rest of them. But i bet you’ve never heard that you can build your very own for free. Using the power of Ning.com you can customize your very own social network and use it to bring communities, groups, and friends together in one place.
All you have to do is sign up, and create a social network by entering the name and web address you would like to use. If you need to use your own domain you must pay a fee along with various other features. After that it’s easy as drag and drop, literally. When building the network you have three colums in which you can drop various additions to your social network including photo’s, forum’s, groups, videos, blogs, and much more. However they do have limitations on how much can be uploaded to their servers. For example: I believe that you’re only allowed to have 500 pictures in total on your network unless you pay a fee.
Ning also allows you to customize how your social network looks, and feels. You can edit the header, information, and even the CSS. People have also gone as far as making Ning their own by paying extra fee’s so they can make the social network a part of their community. An example of this would be Chris’s social network.

I was browsing along yesterday when i found something very unique. It allows you to create cartoon movies and then publish them to the internet. The Website is called Xtranormal, and it really is something truly remarkable. All you need to do is get a free account(only for a limited time), and click Make A Movie. After you’ve done that they will give you two templates to choose from. It can either be a colored scene with lego characters, or a black and white seen with more human like characters.
After that you will be taken to the movie making workshop. There you can pick a template, choose background music, change the characters voice, make movie animations, and much more. Making a movie also requires you to write a script. This can be done by simply filling out the “Write The Script” box in which you will find on the main page of the workshop. On this screen you also have the options of changing camera angles, changing expressions, sound effects, movements, and much more. All of these changes require a simple drag and drop procedure.
All of this may sound complicated, but it really is quite simple. They provide an easy to use drag and drop interface, with plenty of interactive options available. They also allow you to save your project for a later time, and then publish it at a later date.
A problem i’ve noticed with Xtranormal is the fact that it takes quite an amount of time to render the video and preview your production. If this was fixed and became faster it would provide a better user experience allowing you to edit your video more frequently and in less time. Also i should point out that the text to speech translation could be improved. However it does work remarkably well relative to the fact that you are translating from text.
So again the website is xtranormal.com, and i really recommend you give it a try. It’s really fun, easy to use, and entertaining. Shooting/Action games have revolutionized the way that the world plays their games whether it’s on Xbox, Play Station, Wii, or a Personal Computer. Games like Medal of Honor, Halo, and Call of Duty have brought millions of dollars to the gaming industry and have brought up controversy about the content during game play. Of course all of the above costs money, and time. So what if i told you there is a game available for free that brings you quality game play and an easy download.
The game is called Assault Cube. Here is a little description of it according to their website:
AssaultCube, formerly ActionCube, is a free first-person-shooter based on the game Cube. Set in a realistic looking environment, as far as that´s possible with this engine, while gameplay stays fast and arcade. This game is all about team oriented multiplayer fun.
One of the great things about this game that it’s a simple 19 megabyte download, and you’re able to use it with just a 56k modem. The code for Assault Cube is also available in the open source program which means that it can be edited from just about anyone.
A real treat that this game brings is high quality graphics and a smooth interface. Although the controls could be designed with an easier it still brings a realistic experience. Below are a few of the game play screenshots that i burrowed from their website.
If your not addicted to it yet maybe this will get you going. A few features that Assault Cube brings is the ability to play a multiplayer game online with people from all around the world. You can also choose weapons like a machine gun, knife, granade, and much more. You can also choose between several environments including a mine yard, dessert, and a factory.

I’ve been through a few logo’s in the past few years for various projects. I’ve attempted to create my own using Photoshop but unfortunately my lack of experience with the photo editor isn’t up to standard. But with an interesting website that has been distributing their creativity for around a year now you can receive quality logo’s for free. The Website is called Logobogo and it is crammed full of logo’s.
What Logobogo essentially is, is a forum that allows you to post your graphical requests and needs. Between a few hours and a few days a graphic professional will reply with a graphic attached. In order to post a request on Logobogo you will need to create an account and read their forum rules.
Logobogo does have strict rules in their forum as most of their graphic artists would prefer to be paid for their creation. Some of the request rules that are strictly enforced when posting a new topic include the information below:
1) What size graphic you will need.
2) What the graphic will be used for (website, posters, business cards, etc.).
3) Any colors you might prefer.
4) What the text on your graphic should say, as well as any secondary text.
5) A link to the website, when possible, where the graphic will be used.
If you don’t include the above information into one of your posts it is extremely unlikely that one of the graphic professionals will answer your post.

Podcasting has become very popular now days, and more and more people are wanting to get into the business. So today I’m going to give you a detailed Tutorial on how to make your very own podcast for free. Yes for free, unless of course you do not yet have a microphone. Things you will need is a computer, internet connection, and of course a microphone. Here we go:
Before you do anything you need to download an audio mixer. I recommend using Audacity. Audacity is a free quality mixer that is known all around the world. You will use Audacity for recording and mixing your podcast.
Once you have downloaded Audacity you can start recording your podcast. Audacity will take a little while to get used to but once you do, it becomes a very useful tool. After you have finished recording your podcast you will need to get Lame, which is an mp3 encoder that will allow you to export your podcast in the mp3 format. You can download lame by going here.
Once you have successfully finished downloading lame, you may export the mp3 by going to “file, export as mp3. ” When you do that you will be prompted to find lame. Once you have found lame click on the lame_enc.dll. Once you do that you will not need to ever do it again.
