A couple of days ago i came accross a free hosting website called 000hosting, and assumed it was going to be one of those spammy crap web hosts. Therefore i neglected it and moved on. The next day (yesterday) i came across it again. This time i thought “Why not try it?”. So i did and i was to my delight presently surprised. Most of the features that came with the account are features you would expect to find on a major web hosting companies plan.

Again this is surprising to find throughout the internet. New up and coming websites are being displayed using 000’s servers including Xurba, and The Limit. I would first recomend trying it with a free domain before you move your main .com website to their servers just to try it out.

I’m sure a great majority of you guys have heard about the online updating system called Twitter. If you don’t it is a website where you update people that are following you in 140 characters or less. I personally am finding this website very useful. However, lately withing the last few months i have noticed that Twitter has been down for an increasing amount of time. This as I’m sure with many other users isn’t going well with me.
Here are a few examples of what has been happening as of late!
-Instant Messaging to the website has been down for a very long time now. It is becoming a huge problem for me without a cellular device to update my Twitter as frequently as i would like. I normally would update my Twitter about 8 times a day, and now i am unfortunately lucky if i can update once let alone two.
-The actual website being down. For some reason the website is virtually always down. They are having huge problems with this that they have to fix in order for me to stay with this website. I have already found another website that i will switch to if Twitter doesn’t get going properly. The site being down is becoming a weekly, now daily experience that i have to deal with at the worst of times. It would really be nice if Twitter fixed these problems before they become an annoyance to their community.
If you go to their status page, everyday there always seems to be something wrong, like their data bases, broken pages, instant messaging, and the list goes on. Almost everyday they are telling you that the service is in some way going to be disrupted or disturbed due to maintenance. My question is whether there will ever be a day that Twitter works with full functionality.
Anyway, that is just my warning to Twitter. I love the service to death, i just cant always be waiting for them to fix their down data bases, and broken servers. I need Twitter to be working All of the time, not just certain hours of the day.
