Review on The Twitterific Iphone/Ipod Touch Application!
We’ve seen a tremendous amount of new applications coming out of the Apple App store as of late. Some making a huge difference in the way that we use the Iphone/Ipod Touch. Today i’m going to do a review on one of the original apps that entered the App Store called Twitterific.

Twitterific is an Iphone/Ipod Touch client that syncs your Twitter updates whether it be from friends or yourself and organizes it into a manageable list. Starting with your latest updates at the top, you can scroll down to read updates posted over 10 minutes earlier. Twitterific has also added advertisements within the update list. These don’t necessarily effect or annoy you when looking through your updates. However I’ve noticed occasions where these adds have been slow to show up. In some cases freezing the application for a split second.
If and when you need to view a tweet on it’s own page you can double tap that particular tweet. This will bring you to another window that gives you the option to reply, add to favorites, view user info, post a tweet, refresh, or go back to list view. You can also scroll through your recent tweets in a blown up version of your time line.

The settings for this application are very basic. Information you must submit are your Twitter name, and password along with selecting options such as whether you want to receive replies, direct messages, favourites, etc via Twitterific. You also have a few interface options including whether you want to hear the notification sound, have a light background, left hand controls and much more. You also have the option to add your website link to your Twitterific profile.
Twitterific is very useful when your not near a computer. It’s very reliable and dazzles the senses with it’s graphics, and tools. However Twitterific isn’t the only Iphone/Ipod Touch Twitter application available. Before downloading i recommend taking a look at it’s competitors such as Twinkle. Before i go i should probably mention that this application is free and is definitely worth the download.
