How To Login To Facebook Without an Email
I don’t know who would forget their email address, but it does occasionally happen. I can understand someone forgetting their password, but not remembering their email address is quite the stretch. A few days ago I did in fact come across someone who forgot what their email address was when they were signing into Facebook. Luckily for them, a new feature that was implemented by the social network a few months ago allows people to login without their email address.
Most of you would probably remember Facebook allowing users to come up with a username. This username would replace the strange URL that made it difficult to visit a specific profile. For example, “John Smith’s” URL went from http://facebook.com/profile.php?id=1000000 to http://facebook.com/john.smith. This made it easier for people wanting to visit your profile page to remember your URL.
Now the great thing also about this new username system is the fact that you can use the username to sign into Facebook. So instead of John Smith using his John@Smith.com email, he’d use john.smith as his credential.
I honestly just learned about this neat new feature Facebook has. There are probably hundreds more I don’t know. If you have any cool tricks and tips that can be used not only on Facebook, but on other social networking sites as well, feel free to leave a comment below.
