Podcasting has become very popular now days, and more and more people are wanting to get into the business. So today I’m going to give you a detailed Tutorial on how to make your very own podcast for free. Yes for free, unless of course you do not yet have a microphone. Things you will need is a computer, internet connection, and of course a microphone. Here we go:

Before you do anything you need to download an audio mixer. I recommend using Audacity. Audacity is a free quality mixer that is known all around the world. You will use Audacity for recording and mixing your podcast.

Once you have downloaded Audacity you can start recording your podcast. Audacity will take a little while to get used to but once you do, it becomes a very useful tool. After you have finished recording your podcast you will need to get Lame, which is an mp3 encoder that will allow you to export your podcast in the mp3 format. You can download lame by going here.

Once you have successfully finished downloading lame, you may export the mp3 by going to “file, export as mp3. ” When you do that you will be prompted to find lame. Once you have found lame click on the lame_enc.dll. Once you do that you will not need to ever do it again.
